An Energy Recovery
Ventilation System serves two purposes: It provides a steady
stream of fresh air into your home, and it pre-treats incoming
air so that your furnace and Air Conditioner don’t work as hard.
As the ERV drafts stale air from your home, it uses the temperature
of the outgoing air to treat the incoming air so that it is
cooler (in the summer) or warmer (in the winter) before it enters
your system. ERVs also help keep your home’s humidity
level stable. An ERV can be added to any existing heating and
cooling system.
