Duct Sealing

Homes with forced-air heating and cooling systems, ducts distribute conditioned air throughout the house. However In a typical house up to 20 percent of the air that moves through the duct system can be lost due to leaks and poorly sealed connections. This results in higher utility bills and difficulty keeping the house comfortable, no matter how the thermostat is set. To learn more about duct sealing in your home take a look at this brochure. A duct system that is well-designed and properly sealed can make your home more comfortable, energy efficient, and safer.

We are continuing to move forward towards protecting the environment and conserving energy. United Heating and Cooling partnered with builders to complete more than 80 Green Build with Energy Star certification homes in 2011.
