at only one temperature as it heats your home. While this is
certainly adequate, it does result in greater extremes of heat
and cold than a furnace with two-stage
heating operation.

This means that for every unit of air taken
into the furnace, 80% is returned into your home as heat. Is
80% acceptable? Certainly: Especially when compared to older
furnaces that operate at 60% or 70%. Keep in mind, however,
that premium furnaces do operate at 92% efficiency, which can
